The European Commission has received Bulgaria’s first request for the allocation of EUR 1.37 billion under the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
The request concerns 22 targets connected with reforms and investments in education, research and innovations, climate neutrality, digital connectivity, road safety, justice, health care etc. The Commission will consider the request and will then send its preliminary assessment to the Economic and the Financial Committee and to the Council.
Overall, this country’s plan will be funded with EUR 5.68 billion in grants.
