Two emergency medical teams sent to flooded Karlovo

The Emergency Medical Centre in Plovdiv is sending two teams to Karlovo to provide urgent assistance to evacuated residents in the flooded settlements in the Karlovo region. 

Health Minister Dr. Assen Medizhiev is constantly in contact with Defence Minister Dimitar Stoyanov. More medical teams will be sent to the affected areas if needed.

The Plovdiv Appellate Prosecutor's Office ordered an investigation into the circumstances of today's floods in several villages in Karlovo municipality. The National Investigation Service is checking whether the floods, which caused significant property damage, were caused by negligence.
