Bulgaria reports 672 new cases of Covid-19, 4 Covid-related deaths in past day

672 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 4,631 tests performed, a positivity rate of 14%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data indicate. 65% of the newly-infected were not immunized.

The highest number of new cases of coronavirus infection was reported in Sofia-129, followed by Burgas-63, Plovdiv-63 and Stara Zagora-44. 

800 people are being treated in hospital, as 45 of them are in intensive care units. 97 patients have been hospitalized in the past day, as 65% of them were not vaccinated.

 4 people with established coronavirus infection have died and 579 have been reported cured in the past 24 hours. There are 11,794 active cases of Covid-19.

931 vaccine doses were administered on Friday. 2,069,600 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle. 64,878 have had a booster shot.
