The energy crisis was the main topic of one-on-one meeting between the Prime Ministers of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia Galab Donev and Dimitar Kovachevski in Sofia.
"We will unite with Bulgaria to find a solution for supplying electricity, Mr. Kovachevski announced at a briefing after the meeting. We have agreed to establish a joint working group with representatives of the ministries of economy and energy of both countries to determine the technical parameters of the transmission of electricity and the supply and storage of natural gas. The two Prime Ministers discussed the possibilities of Bulgaria exporting additional electricity both for the needs of North Macedonia's economy and industry and for household consumers.
