Bulgaria reports 11 Covid-related deaths in past day

747 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 6,495 tests performed, a positivity rate of 11,5%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 60% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated.

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection decreased with 1,443 to 11,565. 113 patients have been admitted to hospitals in the past day. 88 of them, or 77.88%, were not vaccinated. 703 Covid-19 patients are being treated in hospital, as 32 of them are in intensive care units.

11 people with an established coronavirus infection have died and 1,179 have been reported cured in the past 24 hours.

1,091 vaccine doses were administered on Wednesday.
