British Ambassador to Bulgaria Rob Dixon stated his hope that the good traditions established by Queen Elizabeth II will continue. He said she had been a pillar of support, a pillar of the nation and a part of the life of her people for 70 years.

70 years on the throne - she’s been part of our national life for so long. Her ability to capture the mood of the nation is really important. She’s been with us in moments of triumphs and celebration and moments of great sadness in our national life,” Rob Dixon told Nova TV.

“We’re going through a process of adjustment, we are in a period of mourning at the moment. I am sure we will adapt and get used to it. It’s an enormous change for the UK, for the Commonwealth and for many people around the world,” the ambassador said in conclusion.
