Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria fall below 10,000

Bulgaria has confirmed 544 new Covid-19 infections for the last 24 hours. Cases are down by 110 from a day earlier. 65% of the newly infected persons are not vaccinated. 11% of the 4,966 tests performed came back positive, the portal coronavirus.bg points out.

Actively registered patients decreased by 147 to 9,888. 

60 infected persons were admitted to hospitals as 47 of them were not vaccinated. The number of hospitalized patients has decreased by 24 to 601, with 31 patients in intensive care. 

During the day, 5 people with an established Covid-19 infection died, 3 of them were not vaccinated. 

On Wednesday, 1,310 vaccines were administered in Bulgaria. There are 2,070,708 people with completed immunization.
