Number of Covid-related deaths remains high

There were 618 new Covid cases in Bulgaria in the past day, which is 328 less than a day earlier. 58.7% of the newly infected were not vaccinated. 10% of the 6,214 tests were positive as the level was 13.66% on Tuesday, according to the coronavirus.bg portal.

The number of registered patients decreased by 48 to 9,731. There were 66 new hospital admissions. 49 of newly-hospitalized patients or 74.2% are non-vaccinated people. The total number of hospitalized patients declined to 556. There are 29 patients in intensive care.

Six people with Covid passed away on Tuesday, as 5 of them were not vaccinated. The number of recoveries reached 660. A total of 1,445 vaccines were administered in Bulgaria on Tuesday.
