Seven checkpoints have been opened in Burgas region, where cars, buses and trucks will be checked for illegal transport of migrants. The checkpoints, which will operate around the clock, aim to prevent migrants from entering the country's interior, BNR Burgas reports.
In the 24 hours since the checkpoints have been operational, more than 280 vehicles have been checked and five traffickers and nearly 30 illegal migrants have been detained.
