A total of 126 polling stations opened in Great Britain at 9.00 am Bulgarian time. There are 42 polling stations in London. 4 polling stations were created at the Bulgarian Embassy. Another 4 polling stations were created in Barking, East London. There are 3 polling stations in Wimbledon.

Traditionally, Bulgarians in Great Britain are among the most active voters. According to Milena Vezenkova, who is a member of a sectional election commission in Barking, a lower voter turnout is expected today, because there have been frequent elections lately. The Bulgarian Embassy in London advised voters to take the 2022 London Marathon and yesterday’s rail strike into account, as it is likely to affect transport on Sunday. Voting in the UK will continue until 22.00 pm Bulgarian time.
