After claiming full control of the eastern logistics hub of Lyman in the Donetsk region, Ukrainian forces continue to pursue the Russian troops who managed to break out of the encirclement. Meanwhile, Turkey’s Marine Shipyard launched Ukraine’s first MILGEM-class corvette, Hetman Ivan Mapeza (F-211), during a ceremony in Istanbul. “Hetman Ivan Mapeza” is the first of two Ada-class corvettes on order for the Ukrainian army. The corvette will become operational in 2024.
