Mayor of the Year 2022 ceremony has taken place in Sofia

The winners of the Mayor of the Year contest were announced today at a ceremony in Sofia, where Vice President Iliana Iotova was the guest of honour
The major award went to the mayor of Maglizh Dusho Gavazov for the small municipality category, the mayor of Sandanski Atanas Stoyanov for the medium municipality category and the mayor of Pernik Stanislav Vladimirov for the large municipality category.
The contest is organized by the Kmeta.bg website. More than 72 thousand Bulgarians from all over the country have voted for it. Mayors from all municipalities in the country were eligible to participate in the contest.
