Bulgaria reports 9 Covid-related deaths, 1,339 new cases in past day

1,339 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 8,467 tests performed in the country in the past day, 1,160 up on the previous day, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. The positivity rate stands at 15.8%.

58% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated.

The number of active cases in the country is down by 274 to 9,553.

139 is the number of new hospital admissions in the past 24 hours, 105 or 75.5% are not vaccinated. The number of patients being treated in hospital has declined – by 14 to 593, of them 45 are in intensive care.

9 patients with established Covid-19 have died in the past day, 7 of them were not vaccinated.2,004 is the number of recoveries reported in the past 24 hours.

798 doses of vaccine have been administered on Monday.
