EC approves the Bulgarian Competitiveness Programme for 1.49 billion euros

The European Commission has approved the Bulgarian Programme for Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises worth more than 1.49 billion euros. The funds are for targeted support of Bulgarian companies for problems that delay the transformation of the Bulgarian economy into an innovative, digital and low-carbon economy. 

More than 85% of the program's budget, or 1.28 billion euros, is earmarked for small and medium-sized enterprises.
