The caretaker government adopted a decision to open a consulate of Bulgaria in the United States headquartered in Seattle, the press service of the Council of Ministers said. The consulate will be headed by Elka Ruskova and its activities will cover the territory of the state of Washington.
Elka Ruskova is known among Bulgarians in the United States for her support in organizing a number of events aimed at promoting Bulgaria and Bulgarian culture in the US.
