GERB are optimistic about new cabinet despite refusal from We Continue the Change

"Nothing is lost, the door is open," GERB leader Boyko Borissov said, commenting on the refusal of "We Continue the Change" to sit at the negotiating table for forming a new government. Borissov said that the GERB contact group will go to all parties, including MRF.

"I suggest that the leaders step aside so that the contact groups can work more easily. I hope that reason will prevail. We have all made mistakes, so there is forgiveness in our religion. I am optimistic," he said. Despite the low turnout in the elections, Borissov is convinced that people said "Yes" to GERB, whose "umbilical cord is connected to the Euro-Atlantic partners".

He said that GERB does not offer a coalition, but a form of communication that would be of benefit to the country.
