GERB-SDS, "We Continue the Change", MRF and "BSP for Bulgaria" parties have united around the assessment that the situation in Europe and in Bulgaria is difficult and measures to support businesses and people must continue. They said this after the closed meeting of the parliamentary forces at the initiative of the BSP that discussed the macro-framework of the 2023 budget and emergency measures to support families and the economy until the end of the year.

"All crises require measures and this leads to deficits. Everyone has expressed their opinion, but we do not have a common solution", Yordan Tsonev of the MRF said.

The four formations have agreed to question caretaker Minister of Finance Rositsa Velkova in parliament about the financial situation of Bulgaria at the moment.

"Democratic Bulgaria", "Bulgarian Rise" and "Vazrazhdane" declined the invitation to participate in the meeting.
