Bulgaria reports 220 new coronavirus cases, 1 Covid-related death in past day

220 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 1,360 tests performed, Single Coronavirus Information Portal show. 16% of the tests have returned positive result. 60% of the new cases of coronavirus infection are among the unvaccinated.

The highest number of new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Sofia-79, Varna-19 and Burgas-13.

680 patients are being treated in hospital, as 58 are in intensive care units. 15 patients have been hospitalized in the past day. 60% of the newly-admitted patients are not vaccinated.

1 Covid-19 death has been reported in the past day. 17 people have been reported cured.

There are 10,113 active cases of Covid-19. 135 vaccine doses were administered on Saturday. 2,072,934 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle.
