French comedy wins the 2022 CineLibri Film Festival

"The Innocent" (France) won the grand prize at the 2022 CineLibri Film Festival. The French actor and director of the award-winning comedy, Louis Garrel, was unable to attend the award ceremony, but sent a thank you video message from Rome. The international jury composed of Bulgaria’s writer and director Kamen Kalev, French novelists, playwright, screenwriter and director Amanda Sthers, French writer Olivier Bourdeaut, Italian-born actress of Persian descent Yassmin Pucci, and world-renowned Bulgarian composer Mario Grigorov.

“The Adventures of Saul Bellow” placed first in the documentary category. An honorary diploma was awarded to Theodore Ushev's film "Unseen Connections”.
