Bulgaria is a country the Turkish Stream gas pipeline passes through and there is a potential risk after the Nord Stream 1 and 2 explosions. This was indicated at an extraordinary meeting of the EU’s Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council on September 30, "Dnevnik" writes, quoting a transcript of a governmental meeting. Bulgaria was specifically mentioned as a country through which "Turkish Stream" passes, Energy Minister Rosen Hristov told his colleagues.

After the signal, a meeting of the Crisis Staff was held. Conducting a stress test of infrastructure protection systems is among the measures identified. If necessary, other measures would be also taken, the minister said.
