On October 27 and 28, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev is paying a visit to Moldova at the invitation of the President of Moldova Maia Sandu.
The visit comes in the context of the 30th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Moldova.
The main talking points during the visit will include: deepening trade and economic relations between the two countries, cooperation in the sphere of European integration and the conditions for the preservation of the culture and the national identity of the large Bulgarian diaspora in the country. According to official data, there are more than 50,000 Bulgarians in Moldova and they constitute the 6th biggest ethnic group in the country.
