Bulgaria reports 6 Covid-related deaths in past day

619 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 5,360 tests performed in the country in the past day, a positivity rate of 11.5%versus 11.2% on Monday, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 58% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated. The number of active cases is up by 12 to 9,891.

100 is the number of new hospital admissions over the past 24 hours, 68 of them are not vaccinated. The number of patients being treated in hospital is up by 13 to 710, of them 56 are in intensive care. 

6 Covid-related deaths have been reported in the past day, 5 of the patients who have died were not vaccinated. The number of recoveries reported is 601.

1,254 doses of vaccine have been administsred in the past 24 hours.

The health authorities have extended the mandatory mask-wearing requirement inside medical establishments and social care facilities until 2 November.
