Bulgaria reports 4 Covid-related deaths in past day

577 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 4,782 tests performed, 42 down on the previous day, Single Coronavirus Information portal data show. 60.1% of the newly-infected were not vaccinated. 12.1% of the tests came back positive.

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection increased with 126 to 10,017. 82 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 58.5% of them were unvaccinated. 717 patients are being treated in hospital, as 54 are in intensive care units.

4 Covid-related deaths have been reported in the past day. 3 of the patients who have died were not vaccinated. 447 people have been reported cured. 37, 857 Covid-related deaths have been reported since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. 1,586 vaccine doses were administered on Thursday.
