In total, Russia has carried out 4,500 missile strikes and more than 8,000 air raids, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said. In the past two days, Ukraine has shot down 23 drones.

Russia has launched dozens of missiles and drones on Ukraine's electricity grid in the past two weeks to cause power outages, Volodymyr Zelensky noted. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is to carry out an independent verification this week of Russian allegations related to the production of the so-called “dirty bomb” at two sites in Ukraine, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said.

The Pentagon is sending Ukraine a new USD 275 million package of weapons and other aid, in a move to bolster the effort to drive Russian forces out of key areas in the south as the winter closes in, AP reported.

The United States and its allies have slammed Russia for wasting the time of the UN Security Council and spreading conspiracies by again raising its accusation that the United States has “military biological programs” in Ukraine, Reuters reported. “How much more of this nonsense do we have to endure?”, Britain’s UN Ambassador Barbara Woodward asked the council. “We all know these allegations are pure fabrications, brought forth without a shred of evidence”, U.S Representative to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield said.
