Bulgaria signs agreement on the exchange of income information through digital platforms

The government has approved Bulgaria's accession to the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on automatic exchange of information on income derived through digital platforms. The project was developed by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in connection with the digitization of the economy and the increased possibility for hiding income realized through digital platforms.

The first official signing ceremony is scheduled to take place on 9 November, 2022 in Seville, Spain, at a plenary meeting of the OECD Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes.
