Israeli students welcomed Iliana Iotova with a Bulgarian folk song

Vice President Iliana Iotova visited the Yefe Nof Primary School in Jerusalem at the invitation of the Secretary General of the Teachers' Union Israel of Israel, Yaffa Ben David. The VP is in Israel to participate in the 17th World Meeting of Bulgarian Media. 
The school children welcomed Iliana Iotova with the Bulgarian folk song "Yovano, Yovanke" played by mandolins. At the school, the Vice President was introduced to new modern teaching methods, including games. During her meeting with the school staff, she described education as a key weapon in the fight against discrimination, hatred and violence. 

Iliana Iotova presented the headmistress of the school with a golden plaque inscribed in Cyrillic.
