Bulgaria reports 11 Covid-related deaths in past day

424 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 3,987 tests performed, 156 down on the previous day, Single Coronavirus Information portal data show. 55.6% of the newly-infected were not vaccinated. 10.6% of the tests came back positive.

The highest number of new cases of coronavirus infection was reported in Sofia-153, Plovdiv-54 and Sofia-district-34.

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection increased with 155 to 9,393. 86 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 67% of them were unvaccinated. 638 patients are being treated in hospital, as 59 are in intensive care units.

11 Covid-related deaths have been reported in the past day. 10 of the patients who have died were not vaccinated. 258 people have been reported cured. 1,006 vaccine doses were administered on Friday.
