On 6 November, Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev will receive the Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Matthias Cormann.

Rumen Radev and Matthias Cormann are to discuss the main tasks and priorities along Bulgaria's path to membership in the OECD . The meeting will take place just a few months after the OECD adopted a roadmap for Bulgaria's accession. The step was taken on June 10, 2022.

Matthias Cormann is in Sofia to attend the Official Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Central European Initiative (CEI) on November 6 and 7. In 2022 Bulgaria holds the rotating CEI Presidency.
