Politicians in Skopje dragged our bilateral relations more than 20 years back. We are seeing a cyclical recurrence in the attitude towards Bulgaria, said Professor Angel Dimitrov, Co-Chairman of the joint Bulgaria-North Macedonia Commission on Historical and Educational Issues and former Ambassador of Bulgaria to Skopje.

According to Angel Dimitrov, the bans on the use of historical names by Bulgarian associations in North Macedonia affect the work of the commission.
