The winter tourist season will be a record one. It is expected to be 5 to 7% better than last year's, Minister of Tourism Ilin Dimitrov told BNT.
The start of 2022 was bad because of the war in Ukraine. In July we were about 27% below the levels of 2019. Thanks to the fact that we actively promoted the country as a safe destination, a level that is about 12% below the record for business 2019 was reached.
