Russia imposed countersanctions in the military and technical sphere on 74 companies (15 of them Bulgarian companies from the military sphere) from 11 countries, including Bulgaria, the Russian TASS reports. The press service of the Russian government has drawn up a list of companies contract transactions with which are prohibited.

In his nightly video address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said: “…anyone who is serious about the climate agenda should also be serious about the need to immediately stop Russian aggression, restore our territorial integrity, and force Russia into genuine peace negotiations. Into such negotiations, which we have repeatedly proposed, and to which we always received insane Russian responses with new terrorist attacks, shelling or blackmail. Once again - restoration of territorial integrity, respect for the UN Charter, compensation for all damages caused by the war, punishment of every war criminal and guarantees that this will not happen again. These are completely understandable conditions.” Oleksii Arestovych, advisor to President Zelensky on his part stated that Ukraine was prepared to negotiate with a Russian leader, though not with Vladimir Putin.

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin could miss the G-20 summit next week. Indonesian President Joko Widodo, who is to host the G-20 summit in Bali stated, after talking to Putin last week, that he was left with a “strong impression” that the Russian leader will not attend the meeting, the focus of which is expected to be on the war in Ukraine.
