The perpetrators of the shooting on the Bulgarian-Turkish border have a police record for multiple thefts.

In the meantime, it became clear that Bulgaria has asked Turkey to conduct the investigation together. There is also a possibility that the detained Turkish citizens will be extradited and tried in Bulgaria, stated the Minister of the Interior Ivan Demerdzhiev.

Today, Bulgaria and Turkey agreed to establish a joint working group to fight organized crime, illegal immigration and customs frauds, which will meet every month.
