Bulgaria reports 5 Covid-related deaths in past day

305 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 5,312 tests performed, 174 down on the previous day. 5.7% of the tests returned positive result, data of coronavirus.bg show. More than 60% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated. The number of active cases of coronavirus infection increased with 2 to 7,789.

61 people have been hospitalized in the past day. 43 of them, or 70.5% were not inoculated against covid-19. 541 patients with an established coronavirus infection are being treated in hospital, as 59 are in intensive care units.  

5 Covid-related deaths have been registered in the past 24 hours. 298 people have been reported cured.

845 vaccine doses were administered on Tuesday.
