Work will be carried out to connect the Kalotina border crossing point on the Bulgarian-Serbian border with the Europe Motorway. This was announced by the caretaker Ministers of Interior and Regional Development - Ivan Demerdzhiev and Ivan Shishkov, who inspected the construction of the highway and the renovation of the border crossing. Demerdzhiev said the border crossing will be expanded to accommodate the busier traffic on the highway.

A few months ago, it became clear that the project of the Europe Motorway was about 150 meters short of connecting it to the Kalotina BCP, Shishkov explained.
