The first solar panel plant in Bulgaria will be built in the industrial zone of Yambol. According to estimates, the construction of the plant will cost 6.5 million euros. Investor Cristiano Camisani explained that Yambol was chosen after a long study and thanks to the excellent communication with the local authorities.

A 1.1 hectare parcel of land has already been purchased for the factory. Production will be almost entirely robotic. The factory will provide 50 new jobs for IT specialists and engineers. Assistance will be sought from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of the University of Thrace in Yambol for staff training.
