"Framatome" willing to supply Kozloduy NPP with fresh nuclear fuel

At a meeting in Brussels, Energy Minister Rosen Hristov and his French counterpart Agnès Pannier-Runacher discussed possible cooperation in the field of energy, focusing on geothermal and nuclear energy. 
The French Minister emphasized that "Framatome" is independent from Russia and is ready to participate in the process of diversification of fresh nuclear fuel supply to Kozloduy NPP and to assist Bulgaria in the future expansion of its nuclear programme.

The desire of the French company was confirmed by its CEO Bernard Fontana at a meeting in Sofia with President Rumen Radev. "Energy diversification is a key priority for Bulgaria," said Radev.
