National Assembly Speaker Vejdi Rashidov is not optimistic about forming a cabinet because of the disagreements between the political forces. He said this after handing over the first mandate to GERB.

Democratic Bulgaria stated that the nomination of prof. Nikolay Gabrovski as prime minister with the GERB-UDF mandate is unacceptable, not because of his merits, but because he was nominated by GERB.

Vazrazhdane will not support the draft cabinet with the first mandate because of "insurmountable domestic and foreign policy differences" with GERB, party leader Kostadin Kostadinov told BNR.

Earlier today, BSP chairperson Kornelia Ninova also made it clear that the Socialist Party would not back a government led by GERB.
