“Bulgaria has every chance of becoming part of Schengen next year,” President Rumen Radev told reporters in Tirana where he is taking part in the EU-Western Balkans summit. He reiterated that the country is continuing its efforts towards accession at all levels of diplomacy, and urged the political parties not to politicize the issue.
“This issue should not be made us of for private quarrels between party leaders. There is something very important that needs to be done – this parliament must approve the Recovery and Resilience Plan laws pertaining to the judicial reform. That is something that just has to be done,” Rumen Radev commented.
