Rumen Radev: Europe's stability depends on the European integration of the Western Balkans
Without full integration of the Western Balkan countries into the EU we cannot talk about security and stability of the whole Europe, President Rumen Radev told journalists in Tirana. The head of state is in Albania to participate in the EU-Western Balkans summit.
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, for his part, said that hosting the EU-Western Balkans summit was of great importance to Albania, Bulgarian news agency BTA reported. "I think this is a very strong signal of EU awareness. The EU needs the Western Balkans as much as the Western Balkans need the EU. And that is very important," he told reporters.
