In 2022 we mark the 120th anniversary of Berkovitsa Brass Band. The orchestra is the successor of the first enthusiasts who formed a brass band in 1902. For more than a century, the brass band underwent a number of changes. In 1992 it was named Berkovitsa Brass Band. Over the past three decades, it has released ten albums. Its rich music repertoire includes folk music from all Bulgarian regions, original pieces and arrangements of popular classical and folk tunes.

The iconic orchestra became popular after its participation in "Vetrove/Winds" - one of the music hits of Bulgarian pop diva Lili Ivanova. Later, the brass band collaborated successfully with a number of Bulgarian musicians. It has had many successful performances at the International Festival of Wind Orchestras in the town of Veria, Greece. It held joint concerts with the orchestras of Goran Bregovic and Boban Markovic, as well as with ensembles from the USA, France, India, Serbia, Turkey, Macedonia and Romania.

On 12 December, Berkovitsa Brass Band will take part at the show “Kupon po Nashenski” dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the dancing troop “National Art”. The event will take place in Hall No 1, the National Palace of Culture. The dance formation, also known as "Neshka Robeva's dancing troupe", was founded by former rhythmic gymnast Neshka Robeva who was also a long-time coach of the National Rhythmic Gymnastics Team.
