The former Minister of Internal Affairs, Boyko Rashkov, has refused to receive a summons for questioning, reported the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office. On December 2, an attempt was made to serve a summons on Rashkov, but he did not accept it.

The state prosecution wants Rashkov to tell what he knows about the contracting and construction of lots 7, 8 and 9 on the Hemus highway.

Rashkov's appearance before the prosecutor and giving information is his legal obligation, as it is for any other Bulgarian citizen, the prosecutor's office points out and reminds them that the law gives them the right to order forced appearance and a fine of up to 1,000 euros.

At the end of November, in a television interview, Rashkov stated that there is evidence of "huge financial resources that have flowed to companies close to the GERB party.
