Bulgarian parliamentary delegation pays visit to Turkey

A Bulgarian parliamentary delegation, led by National Assembly Speaker Vezhdi Rashidov, is paying a visit to Turkey. On Monday in Ankara, the delegation will lay wreaths at the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Parliament Speaker Vezhdi Rashidov will have a tete-a-tete meeting with his Turkish counterpart Mustafa Şentop at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

On Tuesday, the delegation will leave for Istanbul, where they will meet with Vassil Lyaze, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bulgarian Exarchate in Istanbul, and with members of the Board.

The guests will attend a prayer service in the St. Stephen Church (The Iron Church). A meeting with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I is scheduled as well.
