No death cases from Covid registered in past day, pandemic indicators are decreasing

284 are the newly infected patients with Covid in the country in the last 24 hours. Cases rose by 138 from a day earlier. Over 65% of the newly infected persons have not been vaccinated. 5.74% of the 4,948 tests performed came back positive, compared to 6% of the indicator on Monday, according to the coronavirus.bg portal.

Actively registered patients fell by 19 to 3,940, down from 4,503 a week ago. 73 infected people have been admitted to hospitals. 55 of the newly admitted persons, or over ¾ are not vaccinated. The number of hospitalized patients increased by 2 to 386. There are 35 infected persons in intensive care.

There were no deaths from Covid-19 during the day. 303 were cured on Monday. 252 vaccines were administered.

The pandemic situation in the country is improving compared to a week earlier, when there were 343 new infections and five deaths.
