The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) demanded that caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev be heard in the National Assembly concerning the visit of Defence Minister Dimitar Stoyanov to Ukraine.
In parliament, MP Rumen Getchev asked Donev to provide details on what tasks were assigned to Stoyanov. "The disturbing thing is that we learn about this visit from reports in the Ukrainian media, translated and then reported by the Bulgarian media," Gechev said.
He pointed out that the National Assembly's decision on arms exports to Ukraine has not yet been promulgated. The BSP said that if President Rumen Radev does not veto the parliament's decision to send military aid to Ukraine, they will turn to the Constitutional Court.
