Bulgaria reports 73 new Covid-19 cases, no deaths in past day

73 is the number of Covid-19 cases out of 1,142 tests performed in the country in the past day, a positivity rate of 6%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 55% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated.

The highest number of cases is in Sofia – 17, in Pazardzhik – 9, in Varna – 7, and in Burgas – 7.

347 patients are being treated in hospital, 35 of them in intensive care. 40% of the 5 patients admitted to hospital in the past 24 hours are not vaccinated.

No Covid-related deaths have been reported in the past day, the number of recoveries registered is 47.

3,963 is the number of active coronavirus cases in the country.

9 doses of vaccine against coronavirus have been administered yesterday. 2,074,756 is the number of people in the country with a competed vaccination cycle.
