Russian attack damages Kyiv energy network; Ukrainian drone hits power supply facility in Russia

Russian drone attack damaged energy facilities in Kyiv and according to information of the local administration, there were power outages in the city that led to the deactivation of heating facilities. The city’s water supply is currently working normally, it was reported. 16 out of 20 drones launched towards the Ukrainian capital were shot down.

Meanwhile, Russia reported that a Ukrainian drone damaged a power supply facility in the Klimovsky district in the early hours of January 2. There were no casualties. The damage to the power supply facility led to power outage in a village in the Klimovsky region, it was reported.
