The declaration on the four leading national goals proposed by “We Continue the Change” is doomed to failure, said GERB leader Boyko Borissov at a meeting of the parliamentary group, broadcast live on Facebook. Boyko Borissov recalled that GERB party had also proposed such a document, but it was not adopted.

“We Continue the Change” has decapitated the Bulgarian energy sector”, said Boyko Borissov and asked his MPs to table a draft decision for the construction of 2 new reactors at the Kozloduy nuclear power plant.

"We made it possible for Bulgaria to receive natural gas from Azerbaijan. We were the ones who booked gas capacity. As regards the gas pipeline with Turkey, we built a 20 km pipeline which enabled the country to import gas from Turkey and to export gas. Today is a historic day, but it would not have been possible without this," said former Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova.
