Russia must be held accountable for the crimes committed in Ukraine, Bulgarian Foreign Ministry says

Bulgaria condemns Russia's appalling attacks against civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, which have claimed many lives in Dnipro and other places. Bulgaria will continue to support Ukraine and its people, a position of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs published on Twitter, reads. Russia must be held accountable for all crimes committed, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry also wrote.

In his evening address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the tragedy in Dnipro was another reason for the West to provide Ukraine with heavy weapons. Zelensky also pointed out that Russia was preparing a new attempt to seize the initiative in the war.

The US has reaffirmed its determination to continue supporting Ukraine in the areas of security, economy and energy. This is what U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman said at a meeting with Zelensky and Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov in Kiyv, Reuters reports.
