Bulgaria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is to summon the Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia in Bulgaria, Agneza Rusi Popovska. Ambassador Popovska will be handed a note of protest in connection with the serious criminal act committed against the Secretary of the Bulgarian Cultural Club "Tsar Boris III" in Ohrid.
According to a statement published on the Foreign Ministry's website, Bulgaria's caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Milkov had a phone conversation with North Macedonia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bujar Osmani. Bujar Osmani assured Minister Milkov that the local authorities would provide the necessary assistance.
