Weather forecast: Slight drop in temperatures

During the night it will be mostly cloudy with occasional rain in some parts. In the Eastern half of the country there will be a light to moderate wind from the Southeast. Minimum temperatures will range from zero to 2° C., in the Western parts of the country, and up to 10° C. in the Eastern parts, for Sofia around 2° C.

Tomorrow, 22 January, there will be considerable clouds which will temporarily scatter mostly over Southwestern Bulgaria. There will be rain in some parts of Central and Eastern Bulgaria. There will be a light, in Eastern Bulgaria to moderate wind from the East-Southeast. Daylight highs will reach 9-14° C., for Sofia around 10° C.

Over the mountains there will be significant clouds with light snow, below 1,300 m. – rain. At and around midday the clouds will diminish over the mountains in Southwestern Bulgaria and there will be sun. There will be a moderate, temporarily strong wind from the South-Southeast in the highest reaches of Mounts Rila and Pirin which will gradually subside during the day. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around 3° C., at 2,000 m. 2° C. below zero.
